TAB Training Presented By Quabbin Mediation, Massachusetts
This in person workshop is for Mandarin speakers aged 18 to 114.
Training Active Bystanders (TAB) is a program that helps build stronger communities by helping us change and empower our vision of our role in creating a supportive and engaged community.
TAB is a skill-building process that helps participants know when they are bystanders, to analyze situations, and evaluate consequences to take action. Participants work together to gain competencies to create action plans in the moment of need or later. TAB teaches how bystanders can interrupt harmful situations and generate positive actions instead of remaining passive and being complicit.
This 3-hour workshop helps participants know when they are bystanders, to analyze situations, and evaluate consequences. TAB is a skill-building process that gives bystanders the competencies to create action plans in the moment or later. Active bystandership means taking responsible action to help people in need, instead of remaining passive and becoming complicit. It does not mean aggression against the harm doer. TAB is also about responding positively to helpful behaviors, and engaging with people beyond your normal circle.
This training will be held in person in Lexington, MA. Details and other information will be provided upon registration.
Training times are based on US/Canada EST zone.
