Diverse Holliston develops programming for the Holliston community to help increase our collective understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and commitment to these values in all spaces. We provide opportunities to practice respectful conversations about our differences.

Current Initiatives
Anti-Hate Workshops
Developing a series of workshops for Holliston community members that addresses anti-hate for specific groups. The first series has focused on antisemitism.
Future Initiatives
Upstander training
Providing training for how to increase one’s capacity to stand up to and respond effectively to hate, prejudice, and discrimination, in real time.
Antiracism training
Training for what it means to be anti-racist, not just non-racist. Learning how to embody this in your life with your actions.
LGBTQ+ education
Learning the basics of the major communities within the LGBTQ+ community, the difference between gender identity, gender presentation, sex, and sexuality.
Indigenous history
Hearing from members of the Nipmuc nation, who stewarded the land we now call Holliston, about their history and their current life ways.
